Hi, my name is Angus from the Ramsdens watch department, and in this video, we're going to be talking about how to use the bezel on your dive watch. So, first of all, you'll have the pip centred to the 12:00 position for standard use. And then if you do need the time, say for example, if you are diving with the watch, or if you're more like me, you might be timing your pizza in the oven, you can set the pip on the bezel to the minute hand, and as the minutes count, they will track the elapsed time of the dive. Traditionally, dive watch bezels are unidirectional and will only turn anticlockwise. Um, as if the bezel was to be knocked on a dive, it would result in the significant emotional event of possibly running out of oxygen. And then once you have timed your elapsed time, you can simply set it back to 12 for normal timekeeping use.
